Profiled sheeting — is a sheet metal material that has a wide range of applications in construction.
This material is used for wall cladding, roofing and in the construction of external fences. The use of profiled sheet for wall finishing gives a number of advantages. It is a very practical, economical and reliable material.
Wall corrugated sheeting – features and advantages
Wall corrugated sheet differs from other types of corrugated sheets, first of all, in the height of the profile. This is due to the fact that the walls do not experience such a strong load as the roof.
Profiled sheeting are manufactured by cold rolling sheet steel (the same as for the production of metal tiles). The steel sheets are coated with a layer of zinc or an alloy of aluminum and zinc (aluzinc), then primed and coated with a protective colored layer of a deformation-resistant polymer that protects the metal from corrosion and ensures color stability.
In the production of corrugated sheets, protective coatings with different properties can be used. The most common popular coating for corrugated sheets is polyester (PE).
Galvanized profiled sheets are practically not affected by aggressive environments. The average service life of galvanized profiled sheeting with a polymer coating is 60 years.
Wall corrugated sheet is actively used in both industrial and private construction. It is very popular as a finishing material for the facades of utility and industrial buildings (utility sheds, hangars, warehouses, workshops), prefabricated buildings, retail pavilions, especially when erecting walls of prefabricated buildings with a wooden or metal frame. This material is also actively used as a cladding for wooden, concrete and brick walls in a ventilated facade system.
Wall corrugated sheet is produced in sheets of different lengths to order. Profiled sheets marked PS-8, PS-10, PS-20 are suitable for cladding building facades. Sheets with a polymer coating of various colors can be used for facades.
Due to the low weight of the sheets, installation of corrugated sheets is quite quick and easy.
